Deadly Sin - A political Anthology

Election day is one week away and the polls are not looking favorable for Presidential candidate Mitchell William Rush. With his eye on the White House, he's desperate for what becoming President would mean for him, so desperate that there's nothing he wouldn't do to insure his win.
Nothing...
So when a stranger approaches him with an offer he can't refuse, will he go for it to guarantee his term in office or will he end up getting much more than he bargained for?

“Silas is right on time,” Matthew mumbled as he tried to convince himself that he should not be nervous. Why was he nervous? Was it because he needed to convince the greatest con-artist alive to deliver an election or was it because he was coming face-to-face with a man who knew all his intimate thoughts. Whatever it was, Matthew needed to shake the feelings off if this was going to work. After a while, he heard bickering in the distance. A tall, muscular man dressed in all white appeared climbing up a hill. Matthew grabbed his knee to stop it from shaking.
“YOU KNOW GOOD AND GOT DAMN WELL I DON’T LIKE BEING SUMMONED UP HERE! NO! I DIDN’T DO IT! I DON’T KNOW WHY—“
“Shut up, Satan. You’re not in trouble…this time.” Matthew tried to mask a power stance.
“EXCUSE YOU! You need to refer to me by my Christian name. Try again!” Silas hated being called Satan or being reminded that he was the one true evil. Matthew smiled and raised his hands in defeat. “So, if I'm not in trouble why are you here then?”
“'Cause we have intimate history and I was thinking that we could—”
“Liar!”
Silas stomped up to him and forcefully planted his foot on the rock between Matthew’s legs. “What do you want, General’s Army?”
“No hello?”
“HELL NO!” Silas angrily shouted but he couldn’t hold his anger for long.
